Just for the record, many of our internal systems use the improved English dictionary from http://liveworks.ephox.com/2008/01/22/improving-the-english-dictionary/

I'm pretty sure Obama won't have made the top 500 male names in the US (maybe once he wins though) so it still wouldn't be in there - I doubt Osama would either. I find it to be a much better dictionary, sourced from a combination of freely available word lists. It can be a little too forgiving though, accepting both email and e-mail and in many cases accepting both -ise and -ize endings. That said, the words it contains are either acceptable for use in official scrabble tornaments or found in at least 6 different American English dictionaries.
